Will the turfgrasses I planted grow back next year?

That depends on the type of grass you planted. Lawn mixtures can be composed of different kinds of grasses. Inexpensive mixtures may contain portions of annual ryegrass. That grass only lives one year and would not grow back. It is recommended to purchase mixtures containing all or high percentages of improved perennial grasses. These mixtures would be able to better survive against most troublesome lawn diseases, traffic and other stresses.
