Mowing a New Lawn »
Newly planted grass is very delicate and easily damaged versus established grass in a mature lawn.

Will the grass I planted grow back next year?

That depends on the type of grass you planted. Products like The RebelsĀ® Brand Tall Fescue are a perennial type of grass and will continue to grow year after year. Other lawn mixtures can be composed of different kinds of grasses. Inexpensive mixtures may contain portions of annual grasses which only live for one year and do not grow back. It is recommended to purchase mixtures containing all or high percentages of improved perennial type grasses. These mixtures would be able to better survive against most troublesome lawn diseases, traffic and other stresses.
