Whether a single variety, blend or mixture, all The Rebels® Turf-Type Tall Fescue products have been scientifically developed to grow an exceptionally dense, lush lawn that is darker, greener and denser than common Kentucky-31. The Rebels® high performance, low maintenance Turf-Type Tall Fescue varieties perform well in both sunny and shady areas. Lawns grown from The Rebels® products have exceptional heat and drought tolerance, as well as increased durability in heavy traffic areas.

Rebel IV is a single highly-rated Tall Fescue Rebel® variety. A single variety product ensures an attractive, dense lawn that boasts exceptional performance and consistent appearance. All Rebel® varieties are heat tolerant and excellent performers in full sun to partial shade. Their resiliance to wear and tear make them suitable for heavy backyard traffic. In addition, all Rebel® varieties are scientifically developed to grow darker, greener and denser than Kentucky 31. Plus, their extensive root systems absorb more water for high tolerance to heat and drought.






The Rebels® blends contain two or more tall fescue varieties. By containing only tall fescue varieties, a blend provides a more consistent appearance than a mixture, while ensuring better performance. In addition, The Rebels® blends provide better resistance to lawn diseases because they are made up of more than one seed variety. A strong tolerance for wear and tear makes them well suited for high traffic areas.





Mixtures contain two or more grass species, allowing more flexibility in varying growing conditions. Mixtures are typically recommended for areas with varied soil types or sunlight. The advantage is getting a good stand of grass in varied growing conditions across your lawn. In addition, planting a mixture will help your lawn endure extreme weather conditions like drought. The seed species are selected to be compatible with each other so the lawn appearance is lush and consistent in color and texture. The Rebels® Shady Mixture is specially formulated for areas receiving less than four hours of daily sunlight.
