Overseeding Grass

I live in Phoenix AZ and want to keep my lawn grass year round. What type of overseeding grass do you recommend?

You can either use Annual Ryegrass or Perennial Ryegrass. They are both used frequently in your area and work well for overseeding Bermudagrass. I recommend using Perennial Ryegrass. It’s slower growing and, requires less maintenance and less water than Annual Ryegrass. It also grows a darker, richer green than Annual Ryegrass. Even though it is a perennial grass, it acts and grows like an annual grass in your area due to the climate and summer temperatures.
