That depends on whether you are planting a new lawn or overseeding an existing lawn. When establishing a new high quality Tall Fescue lawn, the recommended seeding rate for either The Rebels® Brand Tall Fescue Mix or Shade Mix for Tall Fescue Lawns is 1 lb. per 125 sq. ft. or 8 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
The overseeding application rate for both of these products is basically half the new lawn seeding rate or 1 lb. per 250 sq. ft. and 4 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft.
